<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly deliver cassettes between a cassette transfer machine and each cassette housing rack by providing the cassette autochanger with a recessed part notched downward from a cassette height reference face. CONSTITUTION:The cassette autochanger is provided with the cassette housing rack 13 capable of housing many cassettes, the cassette transfer machine 16 and a recording and reproducing device. Selective cassette autoexchange between the housing rack 13 and the recording and reproducing device is executed by the machine 16. In addition, a sensor 5 for detecting a part 3 to be detected formed on the rack 13 and positioning the machine 16 to the rack 13, the cassette height reference faces 25a, 25b deflectively arranged in the vicinity of the detected part 3 of each rack 13 and the recessed part 26 arranged on a position far from the detected part 3 and notched downward from the faces 25a, 25b are provided. Even when the rack 13 and the machine 16 are inclined in an arrow (c) direction from the positioning reference 0 of the sensor 5 due to the dispersion of assembling accuracy or the like, smooth cassette transfer is not easily influenced by the inclination because the faces 25a, 25b are close to the reference 0.</p> |
