PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition useful for medical food. etc., giving excellent taste and texture containing Allii tuberosi semen or Platycodi radix, etc. CONSTITUTION:At least a species selected from aqueous extracts of Allii tuberosi semen, Platycodi radix and Lycii fructus (e.g. Allii tuberosi semen, etc., are extracted with water of from equal weight to 100 times the weight at 60-100 deg.C for 15-60min and concentrated or dried) is contained in the objective composition of a liquid state, a solid state, powder, granules, pellets, tablets or capsules. Besides, an effect as a medicinal food is expected by making the content of the composition in a meal within the ranges expressed by formula I and formula II (dry weights) by making the weight of an aqueous extract of Allii tuberosi semen as (x) mg, the weight of an aqueous extracts of Platycodi radix as (y) mg and the weight of an aqueous extract of Lycii fructus as (z) mg. |
