PURPOSE:To make immune measurement with a higher sensitivity by using an antihuman SLPI antibody which specifically recognizes the C terminal domain polypeptide of the human SLPI expresed by specific formula or the fragment equiv. thereto. CONSTITUTION:The antihuman SLPI antibody which specifically recognizes the C terminal domain polypeptide of the human SLPI expressed by the formula or the fragment equiv. thereto and the human SLPI in a sample or the fragment thereof are used for the purpose of immune measurement. The antihuman SLPI antibody or the fragment equiv. thereof is the C terminal domain polypeptide of the human SLPI expressed by the formula as the antigen and is not limited to its sulfonated acid deriv. The antibody having elastase inhibiting activity by making intramolecular disulfide bond or the antibody obtd. by using the partial peptide of the C terminal domain polypeptide of the human SLPI and having the elastaze inhibiting activity or the fragment equiv. thereto is included as well.
