COMPOSITION FOR PAPER COATING

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having excellent luster of white paper of ink setting properties of coated paper and well balanced performances by setting particle diameter of emulsion and glass transition temperature of copolymer in given ranges, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising a polymer emulsion prepared by copolymerizing (A) 25-50wt.% (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester with (B) 40-70wt.% styrene and/or styrene derivative and (C) 0.5-10wt.% alpha,beta-ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid wherein the emulsion has 0.05-0.3mum particle diameter and the copolymer has 40-90 deg.C glass transition temperature.
