NEW MATERIAL:An antigenic substance having non-immunogenicity or low- immunogenicity and containing a polymer having crosslinking of the same substance with each other. USE:Said substance is used as an antigenic substance for production of an antibody giving sufficient immunogenicity to a substance having non-immunogenicity or low-immnnogenicity without producing an antibody against a carrier and readily purifying generated antibody. PREPARATION:For instance, a substance having non-immunogenicity or low- immunogenicity (e.g., human insulin) is dissolved in a physiological salt solution of a phosphate buffer and a crosslinking agent such as 0.25% glutaric aldehyde solution is added to said buffer solution, then reacted in a dark place at room temperature for 6hr to form bonding of the same substance with each other by glutaric aldehyde method, thus subjected to gel filtration to separate unreacted monomer and purified to afford the aimed antigenic substance. Besides, said antigenic substance is administered to fowl, etc., and immunized to obtain an antibody having high titer. |
