PURPOSE:To enable continuous bleaching of a continuous fabric in an extremely short time without generating creasing by immersing a continuous fabric in a bleaching solution containing a chlorite and subjecting to the bleaching treatment under hot wet condition with acidic steam. CONSTITUTION:A continuous fabric 1 is introduced into a bleaching tank 2 containing a sodium chlorite solution adjusted to acidic side (pH3.5-4), immersed in the solution, squeezed with a squeezing roll 3 and subjected to the bleaching treatment under hot wet condition with acidic steam containing atomized acid such as atomized acetic acid. A bleached fabric can easily be produced by this process in an extremely short time without generating creasing. |
