PURPOSE:To obtain a multistage speed change gear which is small-sized, lightweight and inexpensive by operating a subclutch under control, releasing the tightening of the relative revolution part of the speed change stage before shift, and tightening the relative revolution part of a desired speed change stage, on the basis of the output signal of an instruction machine and a sensor. CONSTITUTION:When a shift-up instruction signal to a prescribed speed change stage is outputted into a controller from an instruction machine, the first subclutch 35 (or in combination with the second subclutch 42) is operated under control, in order to synchronize the revolution speed of an input shaft 4 to the revolution speed in a prescribed reduction gear ratio for the revolution speed of an output shaft 7, in consideration of the revolution speed of the input shaft 4 outputted from an input shaft sensor 43 and the revolution speed of the output shaft 7 which is outputted from an output shaft sensor 45, and the tightening of the relative revolution part of the speed change stage before the shift is released, and the relative revolution part in a desired speed change stage is tightened, and the speed change stage is established. |
