<p>PURPOSE:To revise a setting time optionally from a user center by incorporating an on/off function of a power supply of a protocol converter into the protocol converter and applying remote control it through a packet exchange network. CONSTITUTION:When a maintenance personnel uses a user center 1 to enter a command for registering protocol converter power ON/OFF time table including a packet exchange 2, a protocol converter 5 and its power ON/OFF time table, the time table is registered in a storage device 21 of the packet exchange 2 via a relay line 70, the packet exchange 2 outputs a registration report 28 after the registration and the user center 1 confirms the registration. The packet exchange 2 outputs a power ON/OFF command packet 22 to the protocol converter 5 via a relay line 712 at the time represented by the time table to start reply monitor.</p> |
