发明名称 TURNING MOTION CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the extent of turnability in an understeering trend by making it perform braking force control which varies the wheel braking force at both turning inner and outer sides so as to generate such a yaw moment as assisting a car turning motion at a time when the driving force is more than the specified value. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle where at least front wheels are driven, it is provided with a turning state detecting means A detecting a car turning state and a driving force information detecting means B detecting driving force or driving force equivalent, and each output signal out of these detecting means is inputted into a wheel control means C. In response to each signal out of these detecting means A, B, when the detected value of the driving force information detecting means B is more than the specified value at car turning, wheel driving force is controlled so as to vary it between both turning inner and outer sides so as to generate such a yaw moment as assisting the car turning. With this constitution, when the driving force is large enough, the extent of turnability is enhanced with the driving force of wheel braking, while maneuverability is improved and an understeering trend in the case of the driving force being large is corrected.
