PURPOSE:To improve the outside appearance so that a valve is not viewed, by covering a secondary air valve by a tank cover connected with a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:When a negative pressure is generated in an exhaust passage 13 by the pulsation of exhaust gas, secondary air is introduced into the exhaust passage 13 through a secondary air feed pipe 12, and the exhaust gas is secondary-combusted to reduce the uncombusted portion in the exhaust gas, and the exhaust gas is purified. In this case, a check valve is installed in a secondary air valve 4, and the flow of the exhaust gas into the secondary air feeding pipe 12 is prevented. The secondary air valve 4 is covered with a tank cover 5, and protected from being viewed, and the secondary air feeding pipe 12 is set close to the exhaust passage 13 side of a cylinder head 8, and the length can be shortened. |
