摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a high-speed transfer, even if energy applied to a head with a high heat sensitivity is small, and also to improve the keeping quality at the time when the title material is not used, by causing an ink layer to contain a microcapsule containing a diffusion accelerator lower in molecular weight than a subliming dye having a diffusing power in a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:A microcapsule containing a diffusion accelerator lower in molecular weight than a sublimable dye having a diffusing power in a binder resin is contained in an ink layer. As the diffusion accelerator to be contained in the microcapsule, substances having a subliming or vaporizing property such as alcohol, phenol, carboxylic acid, ester, ketone, hydrocarbon and halogenated hydrocarbon are used and there are cited, e.g. benzoic acid, methyl salicylate and aniline. The content of these diffusion accelerators is preferably 1-50wt.% of the weight of the ink layer. Further, the ink layer can be formed by an ordinary application method and its thickness is normally 0.1-20mum and preferably about 0.5-5mum. A wall material having Tg higher than Tg of the binder resin is preferably used from the viewpoint of keeping effect.
