Invention relates to a reservoir head for a blow moulding machine producing hollow components. Plastic melt is distributed via a circular-shaped reservoir below a discharging piston which moves within the reservoir head housing. Distributor is formed of a cylindrically shaped spiral channel of which two or more are equally spaced around the distributor body, and form an integral part of the discharging piston. USE/ADVANTAGE - Reservoir head is used on a blow moulding machine for prodn. of hollow components, gives rheologically uniform melt flow and improves melt distribution and output.
