PURPOSE:To support lamp holders securely and eliminate occurrence of any excessive play between a lamp and the holders by inserting the end part of the lamp through an insertion hole formed in the lamp holders, consisting of resilient material so as to hold the end part on the lamp holders and also sandwiching the lamp holders axially by means of a casing and sandwiching plate. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor lamp 7 housed in a casing 1 is supported by a lamp holder 12 in which U-letter shaped bent parts 9a, 9b at two positions consist of resilient material, and both end parts 10, 10 are also supported by lamp holders 13, 13 consisting of resilient material, and even if vibration or the like is applied from outside, it can be absorbed by the holders 12, 13, 13 so the lamp 7 is prevented from being broken. The holders 13, 13 are sandwiched and pressurized between a wiring board 30 and a sandwiching plate 40 to be axially compressed, so the inner diameter of insertion holes 13a, 13a is reduced to be brought in pressure contact with the outer surface of the lamp 7, thereby the lamp 7 is supported on the lamp holders without any excessive play. |
