<p>PURPOSE:To allow a stably rear wheel steering control of a vehicle by driving a stop means so as not to transmit the driving force of an electric motor drive-controlled by a control means to a rear wheel steering shaft, when an abnormality is detected in the rear wheel steering control device by an abnormality detecting means. CONSTITUTION:The rear wheel steering control device of a vehicle has a control means A for driving a rear wheel steering shaft by an electric motor to control the steering of rear wheels, and a transmission means B for transmitting the driving force of the electric motor to the rear wheel steering shaft. A stop means B for stopping the drive of the transmission means B and an abnormality detecting means D for detecting the abnormality of the rear wheel steering control device are provided. Ar the time of abnormality detection, the stop means is driven by a stop control means E. The abnormality detecting means is formed of a runaway monitor circuit for detecting the abnormality of the control means on the basis of a determined signal and outputting reset signal at the time of detection and a function for detecting the abnormality of the transmission means, and the stop control means is constituted in such a manner that it is driven when a reset signal of the runaway monitor circuit is detected as many times as predetermined or an abnormality is detected.</p> |
