<p>A process for recycling wash water extract from the polymerization of epsilon -caprolactam monomers includes extracting unreacted amide monomers and oligomers, concentrating the resultant extract, reducing the oligomer concentration relative to the concentration of total extractants by subjecting the extract to superambient pressure and temperature and then returning it to the reaction vessel in substantially the same total proportion as extracted.</p> |
