PURPOSE:To manufacture sheet-shaped secondary battery of serial connection type without enlarging the thickness of battery and without requiring aid materials or any connecting process by furnishing a plurality of grooves so that groove bottoms and crests are formed at electricity collecting plates on both sides alternately. CONSTITUTION:One of the electricity collecting plates 1A, 1B on both sides of a secondary battery 10 formed by lamination so that the collecting plates are situated at the outsides, is left, and the other laminated part is removed groove-shapedly, and also the electricity collecting plates 1A, 1B are provided with a plurality of grooves 17, 18 in such a way that groove bottoms and crests are formed alternately. This sheet-shaped secondary battery 10 is obtained by laminating electrode sheets 3A, 3B, electroconductive sheets 2A, 2B, and the mentioned plates 1A, 1B one over another on both sides of a solid electrolyte sheet 4. Therefore, secondary batteries 10 in the form of single sheet can be arranged in series on a plane without piling up secondary batteries in the form of single sheet, or without connecting in series using leads etc. This allows manufacturing a thin sheet secondary battery having a large electromotive force with good producibility and at a low cost. |
