<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate building of a piston and a connecting rod by inserting a piston pin into connection holes, in a condition that each pin connection hole of the piston is aligned to the connecting rod, and mounting piston pin supporting members to the piston pin in a condition that the piston pin supporting members are inserted into the pin connection holes. CONSTITUTION:When a reciprocating compressor is built, a piston pin 31 is inserted to each connection hole 27, 28 and a bearing 35 of a small end part 34A after a big end part of a connecting rod 34 is built in a crankshaft and further the small end part 34A of the connecting rod 34 is positioned between boss parts 25, 26 of a piston 21. Each piston pin supporting member 29, 30 is mounted to both ends of the piston pin 31, and it is tightened by a pin tightening nut 33 by inserting a pin tightening bolt 32 to each bolt hole 29A, 30A, 31A. In this way, a tapered surface in the internal periphery of each pin connection hole 27, 28 and a tapered surface in the external periphery of each piston pin supporting member 29, 30 are brought into press contact with each other by tightening each piston pin supporting member 29, 30 toward the axial center of the piston 21.</p> |
