PURPOSE:To make it possible to deliver securely a plurality of types of medium having different thickness without exchanging a hopper by distinguishing the type of a medium to be delivered with decision means before a delivery operation, driving moving means, and adjusting a gap quantity at gate means in accordance with the type of the medium. CONSTITUTION:Gate means 4 regulates a medium 1 to be delivered by delivery means 3 from a hopper 2 so as to be a predetermined unit. When the medium 1 laid in the hopper 2 is to be delivered by the delivery means 3, decision means 6 decides the type of the medium 1 to be delivered. Control means 7 controls moving means 5 in accordance with the result of the decision of the decision means 6, so that the gate means 4 is moved in the direction of opening and closing. Thus, the plurality of types of the medium 1 laid in the hopper 2 can be delivered without fail. |
