PURPOSE:To share a printer efficiently by displaying the printing control function of a printer and instructions regarding a form and the operation of the printer to an operator. CONSTITUTION:A common control processing part 41 has an interface with a program group 1 for document printing and stores a virtual printer file 2 with document data and a document issue control file 3 with control information. Then the common control processing part 41 inputs and edits document data from a virtual printer file 2 according to control information stored in a document issue control file 3 and sends the kind of forms, the numbers of pages, etc., to a display processing part 42. Consequently, a display control processing means 42 displays information on the replacement instruction and page number of the form numbers, etc., of the forms and a printing control processing part 6 on an operation display device 5 and a printing control processing part 43 prints the document on the printer 6. Consequently, the printer can be shared efficiently between programs more than, specially, business paper for document printing. |
