PURPOSE: To obtain an antidote against narcotic comprising a combination of specific herbal medicines, having a prominent effect on treatment of withdrawal symptom and having no toxicity. CONSTITUTION: This antidote against narcotic is a composition containing powder containing 0-2 pts.wt. Aconiti Tuber, 10-50 pts.wt. Cassiae Cartex, 10-50 pts.wt. Menthae Folium, 10-50 pts.wt. Valerianae Radix, 10-50 pts.wt. Glycyrrhizae Radix, 20-80 pts.wt. Piperis Fructus Nigri, 30-150 pts.wt. Paeniae Radix, 25-130 pts.wt. Santali Lignum Album, 25-130 pts.wt. Angelicae, Dahuricae Radix, 25-130 pts.wt. Corydalis Tuber, 10-50 pts.wt. Pachynae Fungus, 10-50 pts.wt. Leonuri Herba, 10-50 pts.wt. Geranii Herba and 0-150 pts.wt. Panax Ginseng or an extract thereof obtained by a pharmaceutically conventional extracting method. An effective daily dose of the composition is 500mg to 10.0g and orally or parenterally administered by dividing the dose to 1-10 times. |
