PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and to facilitate the editing operation by displaying a combinational constitution diagram of musical sound generating elements and parameters of a musical sound generating element being edited currently together side by side at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A musical sound generating means 1 is constituted by combining the musical sound generating elements. An editing means 3 edits parameters prescribing musical sound generating operations of the individual musical sound generating elements. A display means 2 displays the combinational constitution diagram of the musical sound generating elements and the parameters of the musical sound generating elements being edited currently together side by side at the same time. Thus, the combinational constitution of the musical sound generating elements which are set at present and which musical sound generating element in the combinational constitution is having its parametr edited are displayed side by side at the same time. Consequently, the constitution is simplified and the editing operation is facilitated. |
