<p>PURPOSE:To allow good identification by automatically recording the identification code of different cassettes on the recording media of the cassettes at every attachment and detachment of the cassettes to and from the recorder. CONSTITUTION:The attaching and detaching operations of the cassette type recording medium to and from a VTR 1 are always executed at every attachment and detachment of the discrete cassettes and, therefore, the count value of a counter can be used as the identification code of the cassette type recording medium. The respectively different identification codes are automatically recorded on the recording media of the discrete cassettes in the case of recording of information discretely and successively on the many cassettes via a switch SW1. The different identification codes are recorded at every different operation when one piece of the cassette is subjected to plural times of recording. The arbitrary data determined by a user bit setting circuit 5 is recorded as the user's bits in the time codes when the SW1 is switched. Data of 'minute' or under is used for the time codes. The use of the identification codes in place of the data of 'hour' is possible as well. The good discrete identification of the recording media is executed by this constitution and the discrimination of the sequence of recording is possible as well.</p> |
