<p>PURPOSE:To select and use the form of original cut paper and the form of rolled paper by equipping an image forming device main body with a rolled paper feed unit which can freely be switched between a paper feed position and a stand-by position below it. CONSTITUTION:The rolled paper feed unit 6 is constituted by providing a unit frame 23 with the paper feed unit main body 24 composed of a loading part 34 for the rolled paper 34, a paper feeding roll means 35 which feeds the rolled paper 3, a cutting means 36 which cuts the rolled paper fed by the paper feeding roller means to specific length, and a paper discharge part so that the unit can freely be switched between the paper feed position and the stand-by position below it. A motor which drives the paper feed unit main body 24 is provided in a frame 26 and the power of the motor is transmitted to the gear on the side of the unit frame 23 through a gear interlocking mechanism. When the paper feed unit main body 24 at the paper feed position is lowered and switched to the stand-by position, the gear on the side of the unit frame 23 is disengaged from the gear mechanism from the motor, so processes for maintenance, etc., can be carried out in safety.</p> |
