PURPOSE:To reduce disturbance in focus servo due to external disturbance by providing org. resin protective layers on a recording layer formed on the one side of a transparent substrate, and on the other side of the transparent substrate, with each protective layer having specified thickness. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer is formed on the one side of a transparent substrate, on which the first org. resin protective layer is formed to >=8mum thickness, more preferably, 10 - 30mum thickness. On the other side of the transparent substrate where no recording layer is formed, the second org. resin protective layer is formed to >=2mum thickness, more preferably, 4 - 10mum thickness. Thereby, amplitude of the secondary resonance caused by an external disturbance on the optical recording medium can be reduced, and defocusing due to disturbance in focus servo can be suppressed. |
