PURPOSE:To ensure long service life of an element having low breakdown voltage by driving a two-phase motor with the outputs from first, second and third wave generators connected, respectively, with terminals of Sin winding, Cos winding and COM. CONSTITUTION:A wave generator 31 connected with the Sin winding terminal 3 of a two-phase motor 1 comprises a first amplifier 11 to be connected with the Sin winding terminal 3 and a first ROM 13 storing information for generating a waveform required by a first wave generator 12 connected with the input side of the first amplifier 11. Wave generators 41, 21 connected, respectively, with Cos terminal 4 and COM terminal 2 are also constituted in similar manner. In such constitution, line voltages of Sin phase (shown by Sin) and Cos phase (shown by Cos) are represented by formulas whereas phase voltages are provided by bringing the voltage of a reference phase to 0 (minimum) or 2<1/2>E (maximum). In the line voltage control, each phase voltage is provided so that the line voltage will finally have Sin wave or Cos wave. |
