<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion and the deterioration of a body by providing a structure wherein a rib is provided at one place on one side between a flange which is provided at the body so as to mount a case on the body and the outer wall of the body, and liquid is not stored. CONSTITUTION:The hot wire of a temperature sensitive resistor for detecting the amount of sucked air and the cold wire of a temperature correcting resistor for detecting the temperature of the sucked air are formed as a unitary body in a hot-wire type air flowmeter 4 which houses a driving circuit. The hot-wire type air flowmeter 4 is mounted on a bypass air path 5 of a body 1 which is formed of the bypass air path 5 and a main air path 6. The hot-wire type air flowmeter 4 is fixed with a flange 2 which is provided in parallel with the axial direction of the main air path 6 of the body 1. A vertical rib 3 is further provided at one place on one side between the outer wall of the body 1 and the flange 2 so as to secure the strength of the flange 2. Therefore, liquid is not collected between the outer wall of the body 1 and the flange 2 in this structure.</p> |
