<p>PURPOSE:To mitigate the congestion state of nodes and transmission lines by means of less processing by absorbing burst traffic in each node. CONSTITUTION:A reference packet transmission interval control means 104 controls a reference packet sending means 101 so as to expand the transmission interval of a reference packet 105 to be sent to the preceding packet exchange node. Thereby, the number of communication packet data 106 to be sent to a transmission line 107 in each unit time can be reduced. Therefore, the number of packet data 106 flowing from each preceding packet exchange node in each unit time is regulated. Consequently, a congestion state in a transmission line sending part or the like to the succeeding packet exchange node can be mitigated.</p> |
