The apparatus for gathering fruits is equipped with a gripper head arranged on an articulated arm, with a seeking member with video camera, and with an exploitation and control unit provided with a computer, with, in addition, hydraulic displacement members. It includes a horizontal support 1 with a vertical axis of rotation, on which are arranged at least two articulated arms, parallel to one another, and capable of moving in a vertical plane, equipped on their articulations with angular sensors 13 and carrying the gripper head 18, two video cameras 15, 16, the optical axes of which form an acute angle between them. The gathering apparatus constitutes an adapter member to be mounted on an automotive machine. <IMAGE>
