This invention consists of a centring tip, designed to centre components of revolution, as well as to fix tools in the spindle sleeve or in the main axle of tools such as lathes.The centring tip comprises an axle equipped with a conical and a cylindrical bore, designed to be able to lock into a housing by means of several balls mounted inside a cross-section bore on the axle; a plunger slides inside the cylindrical bore that is coaxial with the axle, thus allowing the wedging of the axle in the housing due to the balls placed there.
