The automatic cash point is attached to a wall (1) by the rear wall (2) of its housing. The latter is provided with a hood (3), whose edge fits in a groove (4) in a flange (5) of the housing wall. The hood is supported on a hinge formed by two links (12). Each link has one end attached by a pivot (10,11) to a bracket (7) fixed to the housing wall. The other end of each link is attached by pivots (13,14) to a bracket (15) fixed to the hood. The hood can only be opened by rotating the links.
