<p>An automated warehouse facility for improving the working efficiency of workers. The facility comprises a control system in which a file for working is provided in which codes are recorded for identifying articles to be received or issued, code signals each corresponding to articles retrieved from the aforesaid file and automated warehouse working mode signals are input, article-storing spaces of shelves and articles stored in the spaces are controlled, and the operation of an article-storing/issuing crane is controlled. With the above arrangement, the article-storing spaces of the shelves and the articles stored in the spaces can be controlled in response to code signals corresponding to articles which are input via the control system and working mode signals, whereby the workers can specify storing and issuing to the control system independent of the shelf numbers of article-storing spaces, so that the work procedure can be simplified as compared with the past, thus improving the work efficiency.</p> |
