<p>Disclosed is a bidet apparatus (11). The apparatus (11) includes a spray pipe (23) pivotally mounted to a toilet (15). The spray pipe (23) is movable between a retracted position and an in-use position. A spray nozzle (31) is connected to the spray pipe (23). A crank arm (35) extending outwardly of the spray pipe (23) is positioned to pivot the spray pipe (23) between the retracted and the extended positions. A valve (37) having at least one inlet and a single outlet is mounted to the toilet (15). The valve (37) is operated between a valve open position and a valve closed position by a single lever handle (45). A conduit (43) is connected between the outlet of the valve (37) and the spray pipe (23) and a link (47) is connected between the lever handle (45) and the crank arm (35) such that movement of the lever handle (45) to the valve open position pivots the spray pipe (23) to the in-use position.</p> |
