PURPOSE:To record an image until a quantity corresponding to a recording state attains a specified value and to prevent the lowering of density or the missing of the image from occurring in a printed matter by successively subtracting the number of image recorded sheets and the number of image signals from counted number in the case that a toner exhaustion detecting means does not detect the exhausted state of toner. CONSTITUTION:When the toner exhaustion detecting means 84 detects the exhausted state of the toner, counting means 85 and 87 integrate and count the image recorded sheets and the image signals. When the means 84 does not detect the exhausted state of the toner T, they successively subtract the number of the image recorded sheets and the number of the image signals from the counted number. Thus, the image is recorded until the quantity corresponding to the image recording state attains the specified value and the lowering of the density or the missing of the image is prevented from occurring in the printed matter. |
