To prevent breaks of individual filaments having an adverse effect when a yarn consisting especially of glass fibres runs into a texturing device, it is proposed to subject the yarn directly to a false twist during the texturing operation. The device for carrying out the process can be a texturing nozzle (1) which is provided with spirally extending grooves (8) over at least some of its axial extension. By means of these, the air blown into the nozzle and, together with it, the yarn acquire an intensive effect. <IMAGE> |
