The multilayered tubular packaging casing for pasty material, in particular synthetic sausage casing, based on polyamide, is composed of an outer layer based on an aliphatic polyamide, an aliphatic copolyamide or a polymer blend of at least one of these compounds, a water vapour-impermeable middle layer of polyolefin and adhesion- promoting components and an inner layer which is preferably impermeable to oxygen and is based on aliphatic and/or partly aromatic polyamides and/or aliphatic and/or partly aromatic copolyamides.
