PURPOSE:To eliminate a system shutdown due to the disconnection of an unnecessary processor by inhibiting a faulty processor from being disconnected from the system when fault occurs to a processor other than the faulty processor. CONSTITUTION:The fault detection report reception part of the fault information gathering means 200 of the diagnostic device 10 receives a fault detection report and a fault information read part reads out fault information on the reported processor 1. According to the read fault information on the processor 1, the fault information analysis part of a fault analyzing means 300 analyzes the fault and stores the result in an analyzed information storage part. A disconnection inhibiting means 400 has a faulty processor disconnection part which disconnects the faulty processor from the system according to the result and a disconnection inhibition decision part which inhibits the faulty processor from being disconnected, but it is judged that the hardware of the processor 1 is not faulty actually as a result of the analysis, the faulty processor is not disconnected. Consequently, the system shutdown due to the disconnection of the unnecessary processor is eliminated. |
