PURPOSE:To reduce man-day and increase reliability by providing a gap between the side walls of a box-shaped substance and a solar cell, and fitting a framelike substance into the gap. CONSTITUTION:A solar cell 12 and insulating resin 13 are attached to a glass board 11, and put with the board 11 upside into a box-shaped back-protecting substance 27 composed of a thin metal plate 26 coated with resin 25. Then a sealing agent 45 is applied. Besides a gap A is provided between the end surfaces and the insides of the side walls B of the back-protecting substance 27, and a sealing agent 46 is applied. In addition the protrusion 9 of a framelike substance 14 made from synthetic resin is fitted into the gap A. The insertion of the protrusion 9 makes the sealing agent 46 thin near the protrusion 9, its parts move and become sealers 46a and 46b, and fix the frame 14 firmly. This enables the reduction of the man-day of the manufacturing process, makes the sealing perfect, and increases the reliability. |
