CONTROL INSTALLATION OF STEERING MACHINE AT MARITIME VESSELS

The control installation for the steering machines of sea boats is used to define and follow the rotation angle of the rudder, which is driven by electro-hydraulic steering machines comprising any type of variable-delivery pumps. The installation consists of a floating controller cylinder articulated between the tiller and the arm of the pump tumble axle, which has the role of changing the pump capacity; following the rotation angle of the rudder is carried out by means of a spring and a cable tied between the floating controller cylinder and a position transducer. The installation is also applicable in the field of steering machines with variable-delivery pumps construction.
