K. HILDING BROSENIUS TEK-4 HOT WATER HEATING SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED TEMPERATURE CONTROL The heating system includes a radiator, a source of hot water, and a pipe circulation system interconnecting the radiator and the source. The circulation system includes a source bypass section for recirculating to the radiator that portion of the water not returned to the source for reheating. A valve is provided for controlling the portion of water returned to the source, in accordance with the temperature thereof. A sensor detects the temperature of the circulating water at a point between the radiator and the bypass section and regulates the valve accordingly. More of the energy in the circulating water is utilized and the efficiency of the source is maximized by maintaining the temperature of the water returned to the source for reheating at a low level. |
