<p>PURPOSE:To improve assembly workability by mounting a brake assistor on a cowl unit main body, by mounting a brake pedal on an instrument panel unit main body, and by joining the assistor and the brake pedal together after they are assembled on a car body main body. CONSTITUTION:A cowl unit U1 is inserted from above and is arranged on the front side of a car body side cowl member 5 of a car body main body 1, to be arranged on the upper part of a dash panel 4, while an instrument panel unit U2 is inserted from a door opening 1a into a car interior 3 and is arranged thereon. The cowl unit U1 is composed of a wiper unit 12 installed on a unit side cowl member 11, a brake assistor 13, and of a control box 14, and so on. The instrument panel unit U2 is composed of a steering device 22, an air conditioning unit 23, and of a brake pedal supported through a bracket 24, and so on. After the units U1, U2 are assembled in the car body main body 1, the assistor 13 and the brake pedal 25 are fastened together.</p> |
