<p>PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of a battery and to extend the use period of an IC card fitted with the battery by arranging the battery on the entire surface of a reinforcing plate and arranging other electric parts thereon and expanding the volume of the battery. CONSTITUTION:A battery 2 is arranged on a reinforcing plate 1 and various electric parts 17 and wirings 6 are arranged thereon through an insulating layer 26. The terminals 27, 28 of the battery 2 pierce the insulating layer 26 to be connected to the wirings 6 and polymer films 18, 19 are arranged to the surface and the rear of the laminated structure. A lower anode 22a and an upper cathode 23a are arranged in the battery 2 so as to hold an electrolyte 21 therebetween. At the part where the thick electric parts 17 are arranged, the cathode 23a and a part of the fixed electrolyte 21 thereunder are removed to suppress the thickness of the whole and the overlap arrangement of the thick electric parts 17 and the battery 2 are made possible. Since the volume for the battery within an IC card having fixed volume can be increased, the capacity of the battery can be increased and the use period of the IC card fitted with the battery can be extended.</p> |
