PURPOSE:To suck and remove toner and dust suspended and scattered above a drum surface by forming toner sucking holes around the end part of the drum except an image forming area, and making an air sucking means face the toner sucking holes so that the toner suspended above the drum surface can be sucked from the end part on the drum side through the toner sucking holes. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 10 is provided with plural toner sucking holes 10a around the outer circumference of the end part on the outer side of the image forming area X, the toner sucking holes 10a are formed in the shape of a rectangle or a circle, and the plural holes are disposed along the outer circumferential surface of the drum end part at equal intervals. And holes 30a for communicating into the drum 10 are disposed in each shaft 30, and an air sucking pump 6 is connected with the holes 30a through a pipe 4 and a filter 5. Then, toner powder smoke and dust suspended above the photosensitive drum 10 is sucked into the drum through the toner sucking holes 10a by operating the pump 6, and the toner powder smoke and the dust pass through the shaft holes 30a and the pipe 4 so as to be caught by the filter 5. Thus, the toner and the dust suspended and scattered above the drum surface can be sucked and removed. |
