<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly obtain nitrogen gas of predetermined concn. by raising the pressure in a product tank so as to make the same higher than the highest pressure in alternatively repeated processes containing an adsorbing process- regenerating process before stopping the aforementioned processes. CONSTITUTION:Raw material gas containing oxygen gas other than nitrogen gas is introduced into an adsorbing tank packed with an adsorbent and the oxygen gas is adsorbed on the adsorbent to separate the nitrogen gas from the raw material gas. Next, processes containing at least an adsorbing process- regenerating process are alternatively repeated with respect to the adsorbing tank to separate the nitrogen gas which is, in turn, stored in a product tank. When the aforementioned processes are stopped, the pressure in the product tank is raised so as to become higher than the highest pressure in the aforementioned continuous processes.</p> |
