<p>For use in supporting a vehicle (12) a supporting device (1) is provided comprising at least one supporting leg (3) arranged pivotally in relation to the vehicle, a mechanism (4) for adjusting the angle position of the leg and a transverse stay (5). In known supporting devices, the vehicles supported by the latter are very unstable to side actions causing the vehicle to rock. In order to avoid this problem, the transverse stay (5) has been made telescopic and arranged so as to extend in a plane perpendicular to the plane in which the supporting leg (3) of the supporting device (1) extends. In order to allow the transverse stay (5) to follow the movements of the supporting leg (3) the transverse stay (5) is pivotally connected to both the baseplate of the supporting leg (3) and to the bottom of the vehicle (2). <IMAGE></p> |
