PURPOSE:To provide a remote line concentrating function to an exchanger, by adding an interface without change of the basic constitution of the automatic exchanger, through the transmission of control information from a master station of the automatic exchanger to a remote line concentrator via a transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A master station side transmission line interface 104 of a master station automatic exchanger and a remote line concentrator side transmission line interfaced 203 at remote line concentrator are connected with an intra-station transmission line 300. The exchanger of the master station is provided with a master station side automatic exchanger central controller 101, and the control information transmitted from the device 101 is converted at a master station side control information converter 102 in matching with the data format of the transmission line 300, and this converted control information is stored in a master side control information storage device 103 and transmitted to the transmission line 300. The remote line concentrator is provided with a remote line concentrator control information storage device 202 storing the data from the master station and a remote line concentrator control information converter 201 converting the data in the information format of the device 101 of the exchanger, and interfaces 104, 203 are added and the function of remote line concentration is provided for the exchanger. |
