PURPOSE:To obtain a peach-like knitted fabric having excellent tension and rigidity by providing the surface side of ultrathin yarn having specific fineness and heat shrinkage percentage with splittable conjugate fiber yarn and the back side thereof with high-fineness yarn having specific fineness and heat shrinkage percentage. CONSTITUTION:The surface side of polyethylene terephthalate-based ultrathin fiber bundle having <=0.3 denier fineness and <=10% hot water shrinkage percentage is provided with yarn composed of splittable conjugate yarn, the back side thereof is supplied with high-fineness yarn comprising copolymer polyester- based yarn having >=1.3 denier fineness and 20-40% hot water shrinkage percentage and the yarn is knitted to give knitted fabric of added yarn knitting such as rib texture, interlock texture or three stages both sides texture. The knitted fabric is treated with an alkali, the conjugate yarn is split, the knitted fabric is shrunk and a napped state of ultrathin fiber group is formed on the surface of the knitted fabric. |
