PURPOSE:To improve mode setting operability by providing a control means carrying out control such that an automatic magnification selecting mode is set when only a casette selecting key is operated and both automatic paper selecting mode and automatic magnification selecting mode are cancelled when both keys are operated. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine is provided with a CPU 1 carrying out control such that the automatic paper selecting mode is set when only a magnification selecting key 46 is operated among the casette selecting key 45 and the magnification selecting key 46 or both key are not operated, the automatic magnification selecting mode is set when the casette selecting key 45 is operated, and both automatic paper selecting mode and automatic magnification selecting mode are cancelled when both keys are operated. Other manual setting, the CPU 1 carries out the automatic setting/cancellation of the automatic paper selecting mode and automatic magnification selecting mode being interlocked with the selection of the magnification and a paper feeding port. Thus, operability at the time of executing each mode can be improved. |
