PURPOSE:To easily and precisely set the relative angle between a rotor and an encoder shaft in an integrated type synchronous electric motor by integrally mounting the encoder shaft to a part in which the angle position can be unitarily determined at the time of integration into the rotor. CONSTITUTION:An angle positioning key member 24 is preliminarily fixed to the protruding engaging part 12g of the end plate member 12b of a rotor 12 to form a determined relative angle position to each field pole of the rotor 12. The shaft 14b of an encoder 14 is mounted on the protruding engaging part 12g of the end plate member 12b of the rotor 12, whereby the key member 24 is inserted into and engaged with the longitudinal channel 14c on the encoder shaft 14b side to join the encoder shaft 14b with the rotor 12 in the determined relative angle position. According to this constitution, relative angle positioning can be easily and precisely performed.
