The wave damping unit (3) anchored on the coastline is secured by four anchors (12,13) to the sea bottom (2) using anchor chains (10,11). Waves are moving in direction (D). The damper unit has top (6) and bottom (7) with two attached legs (14,15) to which chains (10) are attached.
