PURPOSE:To easily separate two cord halves with a twisting preventing effect and durability by dividing in the short diameter direction a coated body into cord halves each having one conductive wire in the center of the long diameter direction, and separably fusing each insulative resin of the cord halves. CONSTITUTION:Two cord halves 4 are separably fused, to become an electric cord having a recessed groove 3 therebetween. Despite of a large width W of a bridge 5, the two cord halves 4 can be easily separated at a fused portion 10. In extrusion molding, a change in width and shape of the bridge 5 can freely vary strength required for separation. Therefore, the large width of the bridge can prevent any twisting of the cord and two cord halves can easily be separated, leading to a convenient use. |
